the big blue project: detour

Moving on toward what is now the full bathroom but first, a quick detour to what was going on elsewhere.

If you noticed the stack of drywall in the back you may be thinking to yourself, 'That's way too much drywall for just a bathroom.' You'd be right, but that'll come into play later.

So now back to the bathroom in question.

the 'why'

In the summer of 2006 we bought a big blue house in need of a major facelift. Only now that it's nearing completion a mere five years later that I have the energy (and a little push from Heidi to get into blogging) to put the process into writing. This was almost entirely written in retrospect so the posting dates aren't indicative of the actual timeline although they are in chronological order so if you're new to the blog, I recommend you start with the oldest post first.
