room for two

The second guest room's story is similar to the others, refinished floors, paint, new light fixture etc except the closet was built differently and kept although the gold and mirrored doors were not (as a side note, we ended up selling them at a garage sale to an old greasy biker guy who let me in on his intentions to hang them on his bedroom ceiling). The closet remains doorless to this day actually.

Before, looking thru the doorway from the hall after a coat of primer and carpet removed

After, painted Behr 'Cup of Cocoa' with Behr 'Decorator White' trim. The light fixture was replaced after this was taken.

After photo taken in the room looking toward the door; the closet starts at the left of this photo. Although I thought it would be awkward when we first decided to leave the doors unpainted, I ended up really liking the way they look against all of the room colors.

Another after photo showing the opposite end of the 5' wide closet. The wall color is actually a bit darker than I would like and it probably would have been repainted if the room was used more. It's nice when full of sunlight but when it's cloudy outside this room can feel a little dark for how small it is.
